Terms of Enrollment
1. What Bitcoin Foundations Is
Bitcoin Foundations is an education program. You are purchasing instruction: two live, interactive sessions with Dr. Daniel covering Bitcoin fundamentals, wallet setup and security, and how to buy, sell, and safely manage Bitcoin. The price is $1,000 USD.
As part of the curriculum, you will receive 0.01 BTC (the "Starter Position") to use as course material, so you learn wallet setup, receiving, and self-custody with real Bitcoin. The Starter Position is included as course material for enrollments made under these Terms. It is not a prize, investment, security, or financial product, and it is not sold separately from the Program.
2. Education Only — No Financial Advice
The Program is strictly educational. Nothing in the sessions, materials, community channels, or on our website is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. We make no representation or promise of any kind about the future value of Bitcoin, including the Starter Position. Bitcoin's value fluctuates and can go down as well as up. Always do your own research and consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
3. How the Program Runs
- After enrollment, we contact you within one business day with instructions to book Session One.
- Session One covers Bitcoin fundamentals and wallet setup. You then set up your own wallet (hot wallet, cold wallet, or exchange account — your choice) at your own pace and submit your wallet address to us through the channel we designate.
- Starter Position delivery. We first send a small test amount to your submitted address. You confirm receipt. We then send the balance of the 0.01 BTC. This test-and-confirm sequence is itself part of the curriculum — it is the safe way to move Bitcoin.
- Session Two covers buying, selling, and ongoing management, and takes place after your Starter Position has been delivered and confirmed.
- Support between and after sessions is provided through our private student community; access details are provided after enrollment.
Sessions may be recorded. Recordings, and any transcripts or summaries of them, are made available only to enrolled students and Program staff.
We never hold, custody, manage, or control your funds or your Bitcoin at any time. Your wallet, your keys, your Bitcoin.
4. Your Decision Point, and Finality
Your decision point is the moment you submit your wallet address. After Session One you set up your wallet and send us the address where you want your Starter Position delivered. At any time before you submit your wallet address, you may contact us at info@thebitcoineducationprogram.com to cancel your enrollment, and we will refund your enrollment in full.
Once you have submitted your wallet address, your enrollment is locked in and final. No refunds, credits, or exchanges are available from that point forward. Submitting your address is your confirmation that you are ready to receive your Bitcoin, and it begins the delivery process (a small test transaction, then the balance). Because Bitcoin transactions, once sent, cannot be reliably or safely reversed, delivery proceeds on this basis and the wallet-address submission — not final delivery — is the point of no return.
The wallet-address submission form restates this at the point of submission.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, including a wallet address you control. We send Bitcoin only to the address you submit and confirm. If you submit an incorrect address, the Bitcoin cannot be recovered, and we are not obligated to replace it.
- Secure your own wallet, devices, passwords, seed phrases, and private keys. Anyone with your keys controls your Bitcoin. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys, and you should never share them with anyone, including anyone claiming to be us.
- Complete the wallet setup and confirmation steps. Delivery of the Starter Position depends on you completing them; there is no fixed delivery deadline, and delays caused by your side do not entitle you to a refund.
- Comply with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any that govern receiving or holding digital assets.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally able to enter this agreement and to receive Bitcoin under the laws that apply to you. The Program is not available where prohibited by law, including to residents of jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions under Canadian, U.S., or applicable law. We may decline or cancel any enrollment (with a refund of any payment received, if you have not yet submitted your wallet address) where we reasonably believe delivery would be unlawful or these Terms are not met.
7. The Offer Can Change or End
The Starter Position amount stated in these Terms (0.01 BTC) applies to enrollments made while these Terms are in effect. The inclusion of a Starter Position, and its amount, for future enrollments may change or end at any time without notice. Whatever is stated at the time you enroll is what you receive.
8. Taxes
You are solely responsible for any tax consequences of receiving, holding, or disposing of your Starter Position or any other Bitcoin, in your jurisdiction. We do not provide tax advice or tax reporting on your behalf.
9. Intellectual Property
Session content, slides, recordings, and materials are ours. Your enrollment gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning. You may not resell, redistribute, record, or publicly share Program materials without written permission.
10. Community Conduct
Access to the private student community is a benefit of enrollment and may be revoked for abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct, or for soliciting other members. Revocation of community access for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Program is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law: we disclaim all warranties, express or implied; we are not liable for losses arising from your investment decisions, market movements, wallet or exchange failures, lost keys, phishing or scams perpetrated by third parties, or your failure to follow security practices taught in the Program; and our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Program is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Canadian consumer protection law or the consumer law of your place of residence to the extent it mandatorily applies.
12. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe something has gone wrong, contact us first at info@thebitcoineducationprogram.com — most issues are resolvable directly. Initiating a payment dispute for a Program you attended and a Starter Position you received and confirmed is a breach of these Terms, and we may present your enrollment, session attendance, wallet confirmation, and on-chain delivery records in response to any dispute.
13. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stands. We may update these Terms for future enrollments; the version in effect when you enroll governs your enrollment. Contact: info@thebitcoineducationprogram.com.
By enrolling, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms, including Section 2 (education only, no promise of future value) and Section 4 (finality once you submit your wallet address).
